Course Description Guide 2018-2019

FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID WORKSHOPS

Parents of seniors can apply for college financial aid early, beginning October 1, 2018 vs. January 1, as in past years.  This is because the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) now uses the previous year's tax information, 2017 tax returns for this year's seniors.  FAFSA priority deadline, March 15, 2019.

There are 2 steps to completing the FAFSA.
Step 1, create your I.D.# at www.fsaid.ed.gov   Both student and parent must create an I.D.#
Step 2, complete the FAFSA at  www.fafsa.gov

If you have questions or need assistance with the FAFSA, financial aid representatives from KCC's Financial Aid Office can help.

You may also attend one of the FAFSA Workshops at KCC generally from October - December.

Or call KCC's Financial Aid Office, at 815-802-8550 or at  www.kcc.edu/future/paying/fedstateaid/pages/fefault.aspx
